It was an old entry I came across at Boing Boing. And frankly speaking, I was not at all impressed by the tattoo robot.
Designed by artist Nikolaus Passath, “KURT” is a robotic tattoo gun with four needles to pierce your skin and inject the Chinese ink. You can fix it to your upper arm and get the desired symbols on the skin.
The tattoo guns used by the artists are equally endurable and I would rather rely on my human artist than on a machine. Moreover it is not possible to fix the machine to tattoo other body parts apart from legs and arms. Also it is not suitable to ink out a very fine and detailed piece.
