Meet Louis Malloy the real man behind David Beckham’s tattoos. Malloy has given impeccable shots of his tattoo gun to his elite clients that include Paul Ince, Roy Keane, David and his wife, the former spice girl Victoria. He claims that there is no glamour and stardom for him, its pure business ‘it’s all for art’s sake’, as he says. As soon as the job is over he’s on his route back home.
42-year-old Malloy, who inked the giant angel on Beckham’s back, told The Sun newspaper: ‘There are no private jets, limousines or beautiful women waiting for me on arrival. He added: ‘Friends are always surprised when I tell them about the time I flew to Madrid and was booted out of Beckham’s office straight after I finished the tattoo.’The award-winning artist with 25 years of experience under his belt was never even asked for a drink and felt like a servant, but he never minds, for arts sake, right.

The tattoos worn by David Beckham are at best standard.This, unfortunatly, is not the general view around the world(although I am yet to meet anyone that likes them). For a start the Hindi script on his left forearm is spelt wrong,that is just sheer lazyness. I remember when the angel on his back was done,it looked absolutely beautiful,but within 6months it had faded an unbievable amount.I have loved tattoos since I was a young child,done an apprenticeship and have now been tattooing for 8 years and all I know is I have never made a spelling mistake and my ink holds the skin far longer than a year.
I just have a couple of comments to make... firstly Monkey Boy obviously has no actuall ideas about tattoos, let alone Louis Malloy’s artwork. I have had all my tattoos done by Louis and i had my first one done 6 years ago and the colour has not faded one bit. his art work is the best i have seen and his awards stand to reason, he has won two awards for outstanding artist of the year UK in 1986 and 1993. Have you ever won that title Monkey Boy? i dont think so! Oh and secondly get your facts right...it was not a spelling mistake, it is however not a direct translation of Posh Spice’s name BECAUSE it does not exist in Hindi - but instead breaks down the four distinct sounds of her name and translates them into the Hindi language. Asian language expert, Avi Misra, also praised the accuracy of the tattoo.

firstly id like to say monkey boy, GROW UP! by the sounds of things you cant take highly recommended competition, i have had 3 tattoos done by louis & i can not praise his work enough for my 2nd tattoo on my stomach i went to a cheaper tattooist & after 3months it had gone patchy i went to see louis to sort it & although the pain was unbearable i have yet another beautiful tattoo that i am damn proud to show off & will never go to another tattooist again theres a reason he is rated one of the nations best tattooist... becouse he is! get over your jealousy you could only wish for the success he has.

Louis work is second to none in my opinion. I’m currently undergoing a large session to cover my back in some artwork I love in a cyberpunk style.

Hmmm, Beckham used to play in sunny ole Manchester, he moved to dreary Spain were the weather is poor, i wonder do you think his skins changed colour or the tattoos faded hmmmm ? lol
