Wow! This is a great poem of history as his back tattoo. This is ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling and is a very cool idea for a back piece. A beautiful poem on your back will make half of the crowd behind you. :) The tattoo is by Cam von Cook at Osborne Village Ink in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
However, if I would have to make a choice I would have inked Robert Frost’s ‘Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening’.
If I could not take the pain to ink whole poem I would have liked to ink only last three lines:
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

i truely love this poem and if i ever were to tattoo a poem on my body, this would be the one... only thing, though - i would make sure that i checked for typos because ’lose’ is commonly mispelled as ’loose’ and he forgot to check...

There is another spelling mistake on the bottom line of the first paragraph. Where it says ”And yet, don’t talk too good, nor talk to wise” it should spell ”too” wise.
Regards.
