The article published in the triangle tattoo throughs a great deal of light on the history of the art of tattooing. The two tattoos are actually human skins. The amazing pictures were discovered in an old log cabin in upstate New York in the 1940’s.



The person who discovered it, tried his best to figure out the age, but in vain. The skins were most probably peeled off from the dead by the Indians. The detailed study of the varied figures of the tattoos has led to many assumptions with respect to their origin, but a final conclusion is not yet reached. The blurred depiction of the flags and figures have made the task more difficult.



It’s a rare piece of art, as claimed by the possessor. The ruthless undertaker must be really fond of tattoos and artwork. It’s an odd and invaluable collection, portraying the tattoo style of an era now gone.
